Roger Griffith, P.E. is a registered, professional mechanical engineer with over 37 years of experience. His experience includes the design of plumbing, piping, HVAC, and sprinkler systems.

As the founder and principal of Griffith Engineering & Consulting for 23 years, his design experience includes commercial and industrial projects include convention centers, schools, office buildings, condominiums, apartment buildings, hotels, churches, manufacturing facilities, medical buildings, restaurants, historic buildings, dormitories, fire halls, and maintenance facilities.

He also has 14 years of experience as an engineer with an electric utility including piping, valves, heat exchangers, and boilers. He also has extensive experience and training in failure analysis and has taught many courses on this subject.

During the past 14 years, Mr. Griffith has also provided forensic investigations, litigation support, and expert testimony. His specialty areas include mechanical/plumbing/piping system design, hot water systems/scalding, carbon monoxide poisoning/gas venting, boiler and furnace explosions, legionella, and failures to mechanical/plumbing/sprinkler systems. He represents plaintiffs and defendants and has also provided testimony at depositions and trials.
