Reza Marshal is the Sr. Traffic Engineer at Momentum Engineering Corp. based out of Torrance CA. Mr. Marshal has over 35 years of experience in traffic and transportation engineering including highway design and maintenance, construction supervision and management, signing and striping, traffic impact analysis and studies, traffic signal design, traffic data collection, computerized signalization, signal warrant investigation, speed survey, sight distance visibility, guardrail design, pavement edge drop-off and expert witness testimony. He has worked and analyzed tort liability cases related to traffic engineering, construction and safety, traffic signal design, traffic signal timing, highway design issues and deficiencies, accident histories, road maintenance and protection of traffic in construction zones. He has utilized and is familiar with several State DOT manuals, Federal publications such as AASHTO, MUTCD, and HCM.
Mr. Marshal is a registered Professional Engineer in Arizona, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Florida. He is also certified as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) nationwide. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island and a Master of Engineering degree in Transportation Engineering from Manhattan College in New York. He has served as a panel member on NCHRP and is a member of Transportation Research Board (TRB), California Association of Accident Reconstruction Specialists (CAARS), and National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists (NAPARS).
