Dr. Rabinowitz has over 35 years of experience as a clinician and teacher and 25 years of experience as a dental expert witness in the fields of restorative, prosthodontic and implant dentistry as well as in the fields of oral surgery, wisdom teeth, nerve injury, periodontics and endodontics. He evaluates and advises on claims of standard of care, malpractice, misdiagnosis, treatment failure and treatment complications including nerve injury, in addition to issues of liability and negligence.

Dr. Rabinowitz has treated countless restorative, prosthodontic, implant and oral/periodontal surgery patients, rendering an extensive scope of clinical services over the years. He possesses knowledge and experience in the different fields of dentistry as a practitioner and as a teacher, clearly utilizing and expressing them with counsel and in testimony.

Advising defense counsel for dentists, dental schools and hospitals and for plaintiff counsel for patients in matters of dental practice and standard of care, he consults regionally and nationally, as he is qualified and licensed to opine and testify in many states. Dr. Rabinowitz employs broad clinical experience and analytical skills to advise in cases best defended vigorously or pursued actively as well as in cases that are optimally settled. His thorough, strong reports are winning tools in trial preparation and are instrumental in directing equitable settlements. Dr. Rabinowitz is effective, reliable and articulate when testifying, maintaining his excellent record of success in trial. He has strong academic and teaching credentials with an active faculty appointment at Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College in New York.

Earning his B.A. and D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, he then completed residency training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and a Fellowship in Dental Implantology at New York University. He has undergone post-graduate training in intravenous sedation, advanced restorative dentistry, oral surgery, periodontics, complex bone grafting, Invisalign, dermal fillers and Botox. Dr. Rabinowitz has taught and published in dental implant treatment, restorative dentistry and oral surgery and he has served as Chairman of the New York County Professional Liability Committee.
