Dr. Porter is a qualified Forensic and Clinical Psychologist with over twenty years of professional experience. As an expert witness, he has testified in hundreds of cases, both for plaintiff and defense, pertaining to disability, medical malpractice, medical necessity, and child custody.

He has conducted countless evaluations and treatment of personal injury patients (No-Fault and Workman's Compensation). Dr. Porter psychologically assesses the victims of work and non-work related accidents, disability cases, lead poisoning, psychological trauma, and other psychiatric conditions.

He is certified by the Workman's Compensation Board to conduct treatment and Independent Medical Examinations of patients injured at work. He has performed utilization (peer) reviews on thousands of cases. Dr. Porter is also a member in good standing with the New York State Psychological Association.

Dr. Porter is certified as an expert in Manhattan, Kings, Queens, Bronx, Richmond, Nassau, Suffolk, and Rockland counties. He has also testified on behalf of the state in criminal cases.
