I am a full-time ENT practitioner/surgeon in private practice. Washington Univ. trained. Board certified and FACS. Attending surgeon at Princeton (NJ) Hosp. Consultant at McCosh Inf. (Princeton Univ). Clin. Assoc. Prof. Surgery (ENT), UMDNJ/RWJMS (previously I lectured in basic sciences and clinical ENT and was head of the student teaching program for 20 years) Member of the Expert Advisory Panel of the NJ State Board of Medical Examiners and of the Healthcare Quality Services, Inc. Special consultant to the Princeton University Hearing Conservation Program. Peer reviewer for the MDAdvantage Insurance Co.. Officer of NJ Acad. of Otolaryngology. Member of the Board of Governors NJ Sleep Society. I was appointed by two NJ governors to serve on two citizens' councils in the past. I was involved in organizing the original newborn auditory testing program, and in formulating hearing aid dispensing regulations for the state of NJ.
For the Medical Society of NJ: I serve on the Medical Services Council, the Malpractive Task Force, the Expert Witness Oversight Committee and the Medical Review and Accrediting Council.
I have Special Expertise in general Otolaryngology, External and endoscopic sinus surgery, Snoring and Sleep Apnea, T&A issues, Otology, Hearing, Tinnitus and Dizziness and Hearing Aids. I also have expertise in Adult & Pediatric Ear Nose & Throat Surgery which includes: Sinus Surgery, Adenotonsillectomy/Obstructie Sleep Apnea Management, Otologic & Neurotologic/Dizziness testing, Head and Neck Oncology, Voice Disorders, and Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. In March 2005, I presented a 3 hour lecture and question and answer conference entitled "Medical Intervention for Tinnitus" at the Mid-Atlantic Tinnitus Conference sponsored by the American Tinnitus Association at Virtua-West Jersey Hospital, Vorhees, NJ.
In December, 2007, I presented an hour-long lecture to the ENT section of the NJ Chapter of the American College of Surgeons entitled "Malpractice Issues confronting the Otolaryngologist."
As a medical-legal expert I have consulted and testified for plaintiffs, defendants, accident victims etc. and have done truly independent IME's for a variety of problems. I have experience with cases in CA, FL, LA, MD, MO, NJ, NY, PA, TX, UT.
