Profile:
H. Alex Roberts, P.E., Senior Testing Engineer, leads the vehicle, component, and ATV, UTV testing. He specializes in traditional ATVs and the side-by-side or recreational off-road vehicles. Mr. Roberts has conducted instrumented static and dynamic testing of ATV vehicles. In September 2008, Mr. Roberts met with the Consumer Products Safety Commission to discuss the results of his UTV testing and safety design improvements. Some of his recommendations, in conjunction with the CPSC notes, were incorporated into one manufacturer's safety repair campaign. He has provided expert testimony in depositions related to the characteristics and testing of the ATV and UTV vehicle.
