Investigations based upon engineering and scientific basis; operational factors; human factors; aircraft certification and statutory compliance under FARs; strict products liability; and aircrew standard of care.

Flight testing, analysis, and testimony of convective plumes for power plant licensing, FAR Part 77 Obstruction Criteria, Bird Hazards, and other Airport/Land-Use issues.

Piloting experience extends over 35 years and 12,000 flight hours. Flew as: engineering test pilot in both the US Air Force and for McDonnell Douglas; current airline pilot; and owner of a general aviation aircraft. Academic education includes advanced degrees in engineering and business administration.

Past assignments and testimony include both major airline and general aviation accidents.
